The Square pig is nestled next to artistic Bloomsbury and a stone’s throw from Holborn station. It is a haven for working lunches, afternoon coffee or simply those much needed after work drinks.

Our food is perfect for a light lunch or big dinner, be it before your business meeting, a special occasion or simply no occasion! Drawing on head chef Nick's Australasian influences and with a nod towards the seasons we hope you enjoy it.

The Square Pig is one of my absolute fave London pubs! The food is absolutely delicious (especially the small plates), and they always have a great selection of interesting beers on tap - not the same old Amstel etc you seem to see everywhere else! Team are super friendly and you can tell that they just all get on with each other really well. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Brilliant and friendly people working here, really lifted the mood. Spent a fortune as a result, but worth it. Decent food, must say. The staff and bar people make this place a real winner. The echoing in the room was a bit much, all very hard furniture and wood floor I guess, but couldn’t hear a thing. But that’s probably my age!

Popped in on a weekday lunch time with laptop, got a table by the window in the sunshine. Was a great spot. Had monkfish and prawn curry, was lush on a crisp English day. Staff were friendly and helpful, would come again.

Love the square pig , always our favourite pub for after work drinks. However yesterday we was quite bluntly and rudely asked to leave 20 mins before our table booking was over due to the people who were booked on to the table after us arriving to the pub early. And then when we asked “why ?” ,we was told by the member of staff “They’re here early , if you’ve got a problem sort it out with them not me” which we thought was quite blunt and quite frankly a bit of a strange response to what we believe to be quite a valid question 😂.Is that a rule you’ve always had ? We’ll be back next week after work of course but just something I thought I’d raise as we enjoy the establishment .

What seems to be an average pub is below average. I went with my partner at open around 12:00, we were greeted by slow service in which we had to get our own menus, the pub also smelt like cat piss. As for the food it's your typical London prices however our steak and burger we received were burnt and bitter. My partner mentioned to the wait that they couldn't stomach how burnt the meat was and didn't even get an apology. I wholly can't recommend this place at all and would even recommend people to stay away.
