Our beautiful Victorian Frank Matcham designed theatre provides a striking backdrop for any event. Refurbished in 2018 with 591 fixed seats across three levels. For smaller conferences, it can be hired stalls-only for groups up to 328.
The Main House at the Lyric Hammersmith is perfect for a wide range of events from conferences and presentations through to large scale networking and corporate events. The Lyric is also able to hire the Main House in conjunction with other spaces for larger events to allow for breakout rooms, office use, additional presentation areas and catering facilities.
Please note that unfortunately our Main House is not available to hire for external theatre productions and performances that are for sale to the general public.

September 2024This venue is in a great location with plenty of pre-theatre dining and shopping options. The Lyric at Hammersmith has a good bar, a lovely roof garden and good variety of theatre productions to suit all tastes. We went to see 'Our Country's Good' and were not dissapointed. We also love their family shows running on Saturdays throughout September, they are all good fun for the young ones.

July 2024I saw Fangirls, really liked how the whole theatre and staff team fit the theme of the show. The entrance is quite unexciting and disconcerting if you don't know you're in the right place. Nice new build, but old style theatre. Be prepared to climb lots of stairs to get up there as it's all above street level!

August 2024The classic looking auditorium of this theatre is a nice surprise considering the more modern exterior. As the auditorium is a few floors up, there is a pleasant surprise of a roof garden as extra space to wait for the performance.

August 2024Theatre was in a great easy to get to location, a few minutes walk from Hammersmith tube station. Seats don’t have much legroom and safety bar blocked most of the performance. View is from Upper Circle, Row A, Seat 7.
