Flawless from Start to Finish This place has absolutely nailed the dining experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, it was clear that the team here knows exactly what they’re doing. The service ran like clockwork—smooth, friendly, and professional in a way that only comes from real experience and passion. Melany looked after us and was amazing from start to finish. Super knowledgeable about the menu, full of great recommendations, and just made the whole evening feel easy and enjoyable. We followed his lead and ordered the steak special and the burger—and honestly, both were absolutely spot on. The steak was cooked to perfection, full of flavor and melt-in-your-mouth tender. And the burger? Easily one of the best we’ve had. Juicy, packed with flavor, with the perfect bun-to-meat ratio and crispy fries on the side that were just addictive. Every bite had us nodding in approval. Every course after that kept the standard sky high. From starters through to dessert, everything was done with care, attention, and a clear love for the food. Not a single detail was overlooked. Even the vibe in the room was perfect—great atmosphere, lighting just right, and music that added to the experience without being overbearing. You can really feel the thought and pride that’s gone into every part of this place. We couldn’t fault a single thing. Already planning our next visit—and next time, we’re bringing people with us.

Fabulous find in the middle of nowhere 😍 ( visited Cambridge from Portsmouth). Popped in for an early Valentine's supper with hubby & 2 young children and was very pleasantly surprised by location, atmosphere, food, and service. The building itself is full of history ( will be returning in summer as there was a beautiful garden, and can only imagine sipping a glass of rose/local cider in the sunshine 😊) and very quiet neighbourhood. The welcome and the hospitality throughout our meal was truly amazing- Pedro and his team are so into their "zone " to provide an excellence to their guests. The food: charcuterie to start,superb cote de bouffe for main to share with all the trimmings: butters, sauces and a must try creamed spinach 😋 kids really enjoyed their fish & chips too.
