Been an absolutely amazing weekend away for me and my partner, the room was immaculate, the spa had just what we needed, food was to die for and the staff were so friendly and genuine. In particular for us, Sherelle was a very generous, helpful and down to earth woman, she assisted us with everything we needed, we had a good laugh and she made our weekend better! Thank you Park Hall! Hope to see you again x

I will start my review by contextualising that i went for a 3 night stay for my birthday with my boyfriend. the rooms are okay, we get to get them cleaned every morning. to be honest the only polite staff we encountered were the cleaners and the front desk when we checked in, the restaurant attached to the hotel (park hall grill) had unbothered staff who didn’t give a shit about how we found it. let’s not talk about the bar, the cocktails are all bottled and they only throw into a cup and call it a “fresh made” cocktail charging £10.50 for each which is insane. we got included breakfast and we recommend you do too because it’s tasty and cheaper when you look at it.

Both the Park Hall Hotel and Murder 57 event company seriously need to improve. Attended a murder mystery event for my birthday in November 2024 with a group of 18. Upon arrival, the story started but there weren't enough seats. As the murder story began the hotel staff scrambled to get a new seat on. As food service started, five guests in my party didn’t receive starters, nothing was said by staff until it was raised by someone in my group. Staff then said they’d run out of that particular starter but didn't offer an alternative. I had to argue to get a different starter for my group. Eventually, they provided a completely different starter. The hotel staff blamed the event company, Murder 57, for the issues and refused to take responsibility or offer any solutions. I had to repeatedly argue with the manager for him to offer a free drink for affected guests. Initially, only lager was offered. Some of the affected people in my group didn't like lager. All the hotel manager kept saying was that the Murder 57 company was to blame for the mess up and that was that. What use is that to customers? All while the murder mystery storyline is going on in the back ground and many of us are missing it. Some of my party complained to other staff about the manager’s attitude. Finally other drinks were offered, but the experience was tarnished. As each course came out I couldn't pay attention to the storyline because I was conscious they were going to mess up the next courses. Hotel aside, the event ran by Murder 57 staff was chaotic, with poor sound quality making it hard to follow the storyline. The staff themselves were very friendly and most of the actors were good but they should have ordered the room to be quiet before telling major parts in the story.

Value for money, not. Some of the staff clearly did not want to be there, some did. We were told that a party was going on till midnight, but weren't told that two vans were packing stage equipment etc until 1.25am. A terrible sleep and no facilities after 11pm. Col breakfast and angry staff. The outside of the building does not reflect the pictures on the website either. £128 waisted. Do not stay here. Can't see how and when this hotel was given 4 stars.
