March 2019Food average and does not match the style of the surroundings. My daughter had booked this for me for Mother’s Day (night before) and we were delighted when we walked in, but our table in the restaurant was too big, with no foot space underneath. There was a hen party in who were complaining about their food to each other and we gathered they had had some issues with the food, which was not a good start for us. Then the menu was minimal and just anything with chips! My Veggie options were minimal too and my veggie burger was full of grease (hoping this was vegetable oil grease?) The restaurant manager did take off my meal, thank you. It’s such a shame as we normally have a sweet and would have stayed for a drink but I think we were so disappointed. Sorry it’s not going to be to everyone’s taste especially if you are not LOCALs!
