Excellent day out. We saw so many animals. Get there early to listen to the very loud gibbon chorus! When in the cafe at the entrance keep your eyes peeled for the leopard through the windows. Only slight disappointment was that the rhinos were sleeping! Would highly recommend visiting the zoo.

I've not been to this place since I was at school and I'm now 44 It's changed a lot and I'm glad to say for the better The place was really clean and you can see they have invested in it too which was nice And the most important bit all the animal looked in good health not did I think was either neglected or abused and all there houses and pens ware clean and well maintained. Really happy I was able to visit with my youngest and her friend will definitely be going back in the future

We recently went Friday morning and it was really quiet at 10am. There were loads of animals to see and the offer online of 1 years pass was great, we’ll definitely be back. We saved 10% booking online. I would recommend using a desktop it was painful on a mobile buying the tickets, the payment portal is not mobile friendly. There were so many steps to buy a ticket - uploading photos, activating tickets etc My son loved the animals and little parks. I would recommend going round the gruffalo area first since the animals came out later on such as monkeys. We saw meerkats, penguins, flamingos, parrots, butterflies but still loads more to see next time. A lot of the stands were not open for drinks and games but it could be because it was March and not the weekend. You could get drinks in Costa by the entrance and there is a cafe by the gruffalo area.

A Wonderful Day Out at Twycross Zoo! I had such a fantastic time at Twycross Zoo! The enclosures were well-designed, giving the animals plenty of space while allowing great views for visitors. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about animal welfare and conservation. What really stood out to me was the variety of primates—they have one of the best collections I’ve seen in the UK! The walkthrough lemur enclosure was a particular highlight. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of places to stop for food, drinks, or just a breather. It’s a brilliant place for families, but equally enjoyable for adults. Highly recommend if you're looking for a meaningful and fun day surrounded by wildlife!

It's a nice zoo but there's no elephants or lions. Plenty of places to sit for picnic when we went. Some animals we didn't see but that's to be expected. There was a drill when we were there and it was a bit of a shambles as we were told it wasn't mandatory to take part so we carried on walking around to then be told we had to take part.. was a bit confusing for everyone. Cafe is massively overpriced so we only got a drink. Luckily we bought stuff with us for our daughter so she could eat. You get a free return visit which we may use but there are better zoos (such as Chester) but we all still had a lovely day. There were lego animals as we walked round which was great
