Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa, Gibson Suite

We had our wedding at Nutfield Priory yesterday, and we are both so glad we chose this venue. The staff were absolutely amazing, went above and beyond for us. Nothing was too much trouble for them, the attention to detail and level of service was absolutely world class. The location itself is beautiful, breathtaking views, gorgeous rooms, exceptional food and so many lovely little details made the day better than our expectations. Our wedding event planners, Emily and Peter, deserve a special mention, as do the reception staff and catering team. Many of our guests and bride/grooms party commented on how wonderful the staff were to work with. They took so much of the stress out of our day, attending to things often without even needing to be asked. This allowed us to relax and enjoy the day to the fullest, so that we were able to really soak it all in and it didn't go by in a blur. Honestly one of the best decisions we have made, I really cannot recommend Nutfield Priory highly enough if you are considering it for your wedding venue. We wish we could do it all again. This lovely complimentary bear with our names and date was just one of the lovely unexpected special touches ❤️

My wife and I were given a voucher for 2 x 1 hour massages. We arrived 1 hour early to use the spa facilities, only to be told spa access is not included. This was a first for me - from my vast past experience of treatments - the use of the spa facilities are usually included - especially when it’s about £100 per hour long massage per person. So rather than being sat in the sauna, I thought I’d write this review whilst waiting for my treatment… real fail for common sense! If I knew this beforehand, I wouldn’t have wasted a day of annual leave! My advice to all - be careful what you’re booking! And if you want a spa day package - you have to pay for a lunch! Madness, especially if you can’t spare a whole day! Let’s hope the treatments are worth it! Update: Treatments were very good! We were 50/50 about become members, a good overall experience may have swayed us, but think we’ll keep having a look around for alternatives.
