One of the busiest racecourses in Europe is just 16 miles from London

Kempton Park Racecourse is just 16 miles from London and is one of the busiest racecourses in Europe hosting horseracing all year round; Jump racing from October to May and Flat racing on the all-weather track throughout the year.

The highlight of Kempton Park’s racing calendar is the prestigious Grade 1 King George VI Chase.

Outside of racing, the track is a leading provider of conferences and events in the area.

This exclusive space is the very room from which HRH Elizabeth II watches the races when she visits Kempton Park. Bursting with character and regal lustre it is the perfect venue for milestone events, receptions and dinners.

A.great racecourse near London and a great day out. The view of the course is excellent and you see all the action. It is frustrating that the bars and facilities are completely overwhelmed causing 30 minute queues for both. The whole place is quaintly English and a great day out for the family but some investment in the facilities would enrich the visitor experience.

Really good family day out. Plenty of food and drink options. Free parking. Racecourse only half a mile away from junction 1 on M3.

Nice race day. Just bought cheap tickets (£20). Fish and chips very delicious. Crispy and tasty with crunchy chips despite a big wait for mushy peas. Massive queues for drinks of alcohol - result only had 2 drinks (a lot less than normal race day). Well run day generally. Time your train we ended up waiting on a cold station platform for 30 mins.

Booked corporate for last Saturdays meeting and have to say the whole experience was disappointing . Great view of the track but had to put our coats on as the air conditioning was freezing . Asked several times if this could be rectified and the answer was we see what we can do . Beer that was being served was flat when went to get it changed the 3 young staff said yeah we know the gas has run out . Had to get the restaurant manager over to get it changed as the staff did not seem willing or wanting to change . If your paying corporate you have to deliver a better product than this . The reason I give 2 stars and not 1 star is because of the 2 young people serving us one called coco . First time at this racecourse unfortunately will not return .
