March 2025Absolutely blown away by our stay at this incredible lodge. I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in some amazing hotels and luxury lodges, and this is easily in my top three. Frank and Niamh are absolute masters of hospitality—every little detail has been thought of to a level rarely seen. The place itself is immaculate, with everything finished to the highest standard. The bedding and towels were not only top-quality but smelled amazing. The level of comfort and luxury here is something else. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just another place to stay—it’s an experience. The attention to detail is next level. There were so many thoughtful complimentary touches—delicious yogurt and granola, a great selection of teas, coffee pods—the list goes on. The bath? Insane. The fire pit? Absolutely perfect for unwinding in the evening. And to top it off, there are some fantastic pubs nearby serving incredible food. Honestly, I love this place so much I almost don’t want to tell you how good it is—because I want to make sure I can still book it! Frank and Niamh, thank you so much for an unforgettable stay. We’ll definitely be back.

January 2025Beautiful cabin, we had a wonderful stay here. A lot of effort has gone in to the design and fitting out of the cabin. Everything was really comfortable, high quality and the onsite staff were friendly and helpful. There is a national trust site nearby for a local walk, as well as a great pub. We also enjoyed the lovely birthday surprise and treats kindly provided! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a getaway not far from London. The attention to detail is excellent and overall experience very relaxing. Enjoy!

March 2025My stay at Firesyde was absolutely stunning from beginning to end. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, Frank greeted us with kindness and made us feel right at home. We also had the pleasure of meeting Adam and Niamh, the wonderful duo who run the place. They were incredibly friendly, approachable, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s evident that a lot of care and attention has gone into every detail of Firesyde, making it a truly special place to stay. I would highly recommend Firesyde to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. I can’t wait to return!

February 2025We had a fantastic stay, we were looking for a peaceful stay to get away from the pressures of work. This was the most perfect stay imaginable. When we arrive Frank was there to greet us and show us to our cabin, which was beautiful and matched the images shown. Prior to our arrival Frank send suggestions of places to eat in the local area and walking routes around the area. The cabin was well equipped with ample amount to cook both inside the cabin on a rainy day and outside on the fire pit. There was complimentary milk both oat and cows, apple composite, yogurt, granola and everything you need for a hot drink. The cabin was spotless and cozy perfect for this time of year. The outside bath is a lovely touch and very quiet and enjoyable in the evening. Lovely views to look out across. We are very pleased with our stay and would love to return in the future.
