Situated on the outskirts of Bracknell, in the verdant Berkshire countryside, Downshire Golf Complex is a stunning location for a wide range of events of up to 150 guests.
Despite the venue's semi-rural location, it's easy to find. Located just off the M3 and within easy reach of the M4 too, while we’re just an 11-minute taxi ride from Bracknell station which is, in itself just over an hour from London, putting us within easy reach of much of the south of England.
With a capacity of up to 150 people, the Function Room is ideal for celebratory events such as birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, wedding receptions, christenings and Christmas parties, as well as meetings, community events, funeral receptions and more.
The fully-licensed bar and customisable menus mean any event is sure to go with a bang. Our function room also comes with a projector, screen and a part covered dedicated patio area for you and your guests.

February 2025Sadly we played a threeball here last Sunday 9th February, even before we went out, we were told by some members to not bother and ‘try and get your money back’ how right they were. Every tee shot was off a winter mat, the fairways were mud baths and the greens were littered with divots, even the cup holes were full of water. This course should not have been open, we love our golf but will not be returning and would advise others play elsewhere. I have been in touch with the general manager about our round and was told, and I quote “unfortunately we do need to generate a cetain level of income to ensure the course remains open”. They seem to put profit above quality. Sad.
