Built in the 1530s for one of Elizabeth I’s courtiers, Seckford Hall has been a leading country-house hotel since the 1950s. Beyond its imposing Tudor façade lie three flexible meeting spaces. For presentations and large events, the Great Hall has its own bar and a minstrels gallery. Elsewhere, the Mulberry Suite and Boardroom are better suited to smaller groups for events, meetings and private dining. An excellent on-site restaurant and 32 bedrooms make overnighters a cinch.

This place is outstanding in every way. From the moment you first see the majesty of the building and it's architecture you know it's going to be very special indeed. Rooms, service, food, location everything is premier level and the Step into Sunday deal offered really good value too. As the weather was so nice we chose to walk into Woodbridge which is around 40mins, very pleasant and beautiful unspoilt historical town. In summary Peter and the team are amazing and what they produce here at Seckford Hall is second to none. We will definitely be back soon.

We really enjoyed our family stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always taking the time to say "hello" to our children when passing. We had a wonderful dinner from an impressive menu. Breakfast was lovely too. I'd recommended taking the time to visit the spa and getting a treatment. Overall very happy! Thank you.

Had a wonderful 2 night winter break dinner, bed and breakfast deal which we thought was good value. Seckford Hall is an amazing building which is being renovated very tastefully and sympathetically. The food was delicious and there was a good choice on the menu although the restaurant service was a bit hit and miss. We were a little taken aback that the cocktails were out of a bottle. We had a very comfortable stay and the staff were friendly and took an interest in what we had done during our days out. This was our second visit and we will return.

We had a super 2 night stay, including a spa treatment day, and dinner and drinks. The hotel is a super historic building, in lovely grounds, and we sat outside in the early March sunshine, enjoying the peace and our teas on the terrace. But more than that, all the staff were so warm, friendly and helpful - from reception, to the spa, the bar, restaurant and housekeeping. Thank you for making our trip special.

the hotel was wonderful, the food was great, and the staff was professional. the spa is on point, i loved the outdoor hot tub and cold plunge, and the deep swimming pool. regretfully i cannot give it more than 2* because we booked a deluxe room for 2 nights for my birthday weekend, but on arrival we were informed that the room is not available. we were downgraded to a standard room for the first night, and told that there is no solution for us for the second night. the staff was friendly and polite, and our dinner was comped as an apology, which was greatly appreciated. the issue was that we were initially told this was caused by maintenance issue, then we were told that the booking had been cancelled through booking.com, so we don’t actually know what happened. leaving this unpleasant experience to the side, i definitely look forward to staying there again, hopefully this time we will have a different experience. the place is fantastic, and the time we spent in there was absolutely delightful.
