Our Wedding Venue with Rooms is a wonderfully romantic backdrop and exclusively yours for your day.
Your own little pocket of countryside all to yourself. Rural, but with a contemporary edge.
The Victorian Barn is a picture perfect spot & the ideal backdrop for photos to treasure for years to come.
The Osborne Hall…….. Our magnificent function space is in the centre of the barn for intimate or larger gatherings with vast chandeliers, flagstone floor and underfloor heating. The glass ceiling makes the room light and airy whilst retaining the rustic barn charm. A balustrade balcony can be used by your guests, your photographer, musician or photo booth.
The Osborne Hall is available from 8 am on your special day (bar and music to finish by 11:30pm with non residents departing at this time)
We also offer the opportunity to clear the hall the following day until 12 mid-day.
Accommodation….....28 bedrooms, sleeping up to 60 guests for one night from 8 am the morning of your wedding until 12 mid-day the following day.
What’s included……..Exclusive Hire of The Victorian Barn, including The Osborne Hall for your Civil Ceremony & Reception plus Self Catering Accommodation.
Tables & Chairs.
The Albert Suite Bar & Professional Bar service with licensed cash bar facility (Glassware provided by the bar) Charge applicable.
Use of your own caterers. Professional companies only.
Use of private informally landscaped gardens and lakes for photographs

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning beauty and tranquil atmosphere of The Victorian Barn. Nestled in the picturesque Dorset countryside, the setting is both idyllic and serene, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The grounds are immaculately maintained, and the lush greenery and charming landscape provide a beautiful backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Accommodation at The Victorian Barn is top-notch. The variety of well-appointed cottages and apartments comfortably accommodated our large group, providing a blend of modern amenities and cozy comfort. Each unit is tastefully decorated, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the furnishings and decor made us feel right at home. The facilities available at The Victorian Barn are outstanding. We enjoyed the indoor heated swimming pool, which was a big hit with both adults and children alike.The outdoor play area was a great spot for the kids to burn off energy. The location of The Victorian Barn is also ideal for exploring the surrounding area. We enjoyed several day trips to nearby attractions, including the Jurassic Coast, charming villages, and historic sites. Returning to the comfort and tranquility of The Victorian Barn each evening was a pleasure. In summary, our stay at The Victorian Barn was an unforgettable experience. The combination of beautiful surroundings, excellent accommodations, top-notch facilities, and outstanding hospitality made it the perfect destination for our large group holiday. September 2024Great holiday here. Lovely and remote. Pool is great for little kids and the sauna was very relaxing. Hosts were very helpful with extending our stay. Please could the deposit be returned? Thanks!
