January 2025We stayed overnight with our dog whilst visiting relatives. What a great place! Clean, large room, newly refurbished. Great service, ideal location close to Victoria Quays. The new owners are doing a great job. We paid £8 for parking overnight close by - pay at Crown Plaza Hotel a short walk away. The Metropolitan has a car park which is a bit tricky to navigate to on the one way system and this is cheaper. The manager, Sandeep, told us this will be changing and access will be easier soon. To be honest, we felt £8 was fine. The room rate was super value and although it was £25 for our dog, this is the pet rate for up to 3 nights. I must mention Raj, who was running the bar - excellent, friendly and polite service. What's not to like?!

February 2025I stayed at the Best Western Hotel for three days last week due to my work schedule. During my stay, I was pleased with both the staff and the facilities. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with housekeeping ensuring it was cleaned and arranged every day. The breakfast selection was excellent—delicious, healthy, and well-prepared. A young gentleman working in the restaurant's breakfast section was particularly supportive and engaging. The manager was also attentive, checking in to ensure we were satisfied with the food and our overall stay.The food was truly impressive, and my experience at the hotel was enjoyable. If I have the opportunity to visit again, I would definitely choose to stay here.
