February 2025Absolutely fantastic. Was totally let down by another hotel after a 4 hour drive. Had booked an accessible room with wet room and arrived to find they didn't have any accessible rooms or wet rooms. The system shouldn't have let me book it. Whilst the Receptionist was very sorry, they couldn't sort out the issue. So I phoned the Leonardo Royal and they were wonderful and helpful and kind. By now it was nearly 7.30pm. By the time I had driven there, they had a fully accessible room, with a wet room and a bed all ready for my son and set up for us. I was really stressed and tired when we arrived and I was instantly put at ease. My son is having surgery this morning, so really needed to relax. Thank you Leonardo Royal

January 2025They have quite a variety of breakfast and the food was very nice. The staff were friendly. The hotel restaurant had delicious food. And they have Marco Pierre White too but you have to book first. On top of that they have quite an extensive gym, indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam, just make sure you book first. And huge parking lot with 6 pounds per day. So easy to find and a gas station with convenient stores just across the street. Would definitely stay here again when coming to Oxford.

February 2025A wonderful hotel in all ways. Staff : brilliant, helpful and friendly. Location: just off the ring road so non of the city centre nonsense, the No6 bus passes every 20 mins (taxi to St Giles is about £12, parking in city can be as much as £7 an hour!) and parking at hotel is relatively cheap. Rooms : clean and spacious with a lovely large shower ( no bath in my room but I’m sure there’s an option if required). Bar : friendly, clean and not too expensive. Local pubs in Wolvercote ( Trout and White Hart) both great venues. Surprised to have to pay £4 for a coffee at reception area, after paying £150 for the room. Highly recommend but don’t expect views of Spires and Gowns (they are in city centre). Xx

March 2025A nice hotel, easy to access. Found the staff friendly and attentive. The breakfast was a good selection of hot and continental choices, room was upgraded from a superior to an executive, not sure what the difference was except we had only a shower. Big comfy bed, quiet and slept really well. All in all a great stay. Would love free car parking as it was an expensive parking weekend.
