From your very first enquiry through to the wedding day itself, your very own dedicated wedding co-ordinator will be on hand to help you with your plans and preparations. We have an exceptional team at the hotel including our brilliant banqueting manager who is happy to meet with you and act as your toast master for the day.
The hotel is licensed to hold civil ceremonies in two wonderful function suites. The Crick Suite is ideal for small, intimate events with 25 guests, while the Stanford Suite is perfect for larger ceremonies with up to 120.
Following your ceremony, the Albany Suite can seat up to 120 guests for your wedding breakfast. The suite can be dressed with stunning centrepieces, starlit backdrop, chair covers and sashes for your meal before being transformed for an evening reception. Many of our packages include a disco and DJ to help you and your guests celebrate into the night.
The hotel offers four wedding packages which have been designed to suit a range of requirements and budgets. For a more personal day, we are happy to create a bespoke package for you. All of the packages include discounted accommodation for your guests.

January 2025Stayed here for a week and it has been a very pleasant experience, the rooms are clean and nice and quiet. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the facilities are spot on. The food was way better than expected especially the cooked breakfast. Would I recommend this hotel.... absolutely yes, no hesitation.

December 2024For the price you can’t go wrong. £68 we paid for a double room for 2 adults and 2 kids. We used the pool and jacuzzi both days. Kids love it and it’s genuinely a very decent pool and leisure area. The gym also is fine for what it is and better than expected. The staff are absolutely fantastic. Friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also very decent - again better than you might expect. The rooms are ok - bearable. Overall I would definitely recommend for a short stay on a budget.

March 2025Stopped for 18 min to charge my car as it is advertised as a public charging point. Charger worked well, all seemed fine, charged me £20 which is not a bad rate per KWh. A week later, £60 parking fine in the post. Thanks Holiday Inn, you MUST make this clearer. I see that other posts mention that you have to register your number plate when you go into reception, but you pay for charging at the charging point so why would I go into the hotel? I just went to use and pay for the charging point that is advertised as available to all. I’m sure you don’t mean it to be, but it could be misinterpreted as an intentional scam.
