Located in the picture-perfect village of Harlestone, next to Althorp House, Harlestone Park is the ideal setting for your wedding celebrations. With a long history of holding wonderful weddings, our aim is to provide your dream day.
Harlestone Park is home to Northampton Golf Club, the oldest golf club in the county, and is also known to be the inspiration for Jane Austen’s romantic classic, Mansfield Park.
We are now fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies, so you can hold your whole day on the premises. Alternatively, if you have your heart set on a church service, the quaint Harlestone Church within the park welcomes couples for a romantic ceremony.
Our spacious Lakeview Suite has a balcony boasting stunning views across our golf course. The room can accommodate up to 110 day guests and up to 200 for your evening reception. The Lakeview Suite is available for exclusive use from 9am to 12:00 am on your wedding day, so you and your guests can celebrate into the night.
For larger events, the grounds have ample space for a marquee with extensive views across the lawns and parkland. The exceptional surroundings offer the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.

February 2025Great place, the staff were really friendly, providing a professional yet welcoming service. We were there for a friends wedding February 22nd 2025, and although the weather was not the greatest, the indoor reception hall with its large windows and tasteful decor made it a great place to be stuck inside. Respecting the bride, groom and guests I can't post pictures of the day, but the food was really tasty and the burgers were huge made with the beef of what felt like 7 cows.

January 2025I love our course, drainage in the winter is an ongoing problem and really let's it down given the membership fees keep increasing. The layout is great with a good bunch of good golf holes. Just hard to get 18 holes in the winter due to closures etc...
