A beautiful and historic 16th century castle set in the lowlands of the South West of Scotland. The venue is located on the banks of the river Cree next to the quiet and picturesque town of Newton Stewart. The estate is private with 30 acres of woodland and large lawns which can hold any size marquee. There is plenty of available parking for cars and coaches. The castle benefits from having a grand and warm entrance with log fire places and regal hall ways. These lead to the lounge, bar and ball room. The ball room is modern and is of large capacity with the ability to hold up to 120 seated guests depending on table and seat configuration.

December 2019This place is simply awesome and great value for money. I stayed here last week with my friend. We stayed in one of the castles bedrooms which is not located in the main castle building but in one of the attachments. The room was cozy and very warm. The bed was super comfortable and I had the perfect nights sleep. The Bathroom is excellent with a very powerful shower. Although no TV in the room its not a big issue as we were there to chill out and enjoy the countryside and fresh air. Will definitely visit again.
