What is Putters?
A revolutionary tech infused mini golf experience with live scoreboards, on-screen animations, and audio bringing every hole to life.
Scorecards are a thing of the past! With all of your points being added up for you, you can play without having to worry about adding up your points, so no cheating!
How it works is, you will play in groups of up to 6 competing against each other on a selection of our themed 9-hole courses: Fairground, Circus or Virtual Escape. Each player has three double point cheats to help boost your score and try to take the lead.

Unfortunately, we operate a no refund policy within our venue; this can be found within our Terms and Conditions: https://www.urbanplayground.co.uk/terms-conditions However, we are more than happy to reschedule an event to an alternative date/time if you are unable to attend. We require a minimum of 1 weeks notice to cancel the original date, and an alternative date does not need to be decided straight away, we will hold the booking until a new date can be confirmed. An exception can be made under certain circumstances where we will accept 1 days notice.
Other rules
Under 18s are only permitted in the venue with an accompanying adult. We operate a 'Challenge 25 Policy' in all areas of the venue, so please don't be offended if we ask for ID.

March 2025Highly recommend the cube experience in Urban Playground. Upon entrances it looks super cool but gives a feel of unorganised and busy HOWEVER it’s so well organised it’s great. Scan your QR code, you get told what game next to go to and you scan as you go round so it’s never long wait times. The games are fantastic and feel very much like it looks on tv. we had a fantastic time.

March 2025We booked the cube game as me and my partner were up in Manchester for the weekend. Our booking was for 2pm and we didn’t officially get started till 2.30 due to it being quite busy on a Saturday afternoon. Coats and bags can be stored for free in their cloakroom so you don’t have to drag your things around which was a plus. It was quite loud so can be hard to hear when staff are explaining things to you for each of the games. In addition it was boiling so we were getting a bit restless after standing waiting to start our games after other people. Nonetheless after we got going eventually we had a drink and got round a few of the cube games and thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely come back again it was nice to do something different!

March 2025The is a great place if you visit when it's not so quiet (I went when my son on Thursday, 1pm) . I thought that we would be partnered up with another pair, as stated on the website at the time of booking, but we ended up doing the cube on our own which just wasn't as much fun as I'd expected (having been before, with a large group of friends on a busy Saturday afternoon , which was really fun and exciting). We paid £42 each and the experience was done in less than 1 hour and the we us going slow in between each cube. So it was a lot of money for not that much entertainment. Had we been against another pair, it would have taken longer which would have felt more worth the cost. It's a well run place and staff are nice, though given how quiet it was, they could have been a bit more generous with the odd tiny practice here and there.

February 2025Myself and partner visited “The cube” on a weekend away. It was all amazing fun and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, providing an exciting atmosphere. The only downfall would be that you do not compete in all games available there and that you don’t choose which one’s you do. Overall fun and would definitely recommend for something competitive and different to do.
