March 2025Last minute change of plans meant we booked at short-notice but the staff were welcoming, attentive and service was delivered with a smile. Alex C ran through any limitations to the menu and advised us of alternatives where necessary. The Sunday roast options were delicious and came with generous helpings of gravy. We opted for the Lamb and the meat fell apart beautifully. I was indecisive about dessert but Alex helped choose between the options and it all paired lovely together.

February 2025Took my friends to Fountain House by Manchester Town Hall for Sunday roast. 10/10. They were reluctant, but ultimately won over. Food is excellent, with lots of choice, and good price for city centre. Service is spot on and the restaurant is beautiful, although the bottom floor is closed Jan/Feb.

March 2025The pub was closing a short while after I turned up, so it's hard to gauge what it's like on a normal busy evening. That said, the staff were very friendly and efficient and it does look like a very nice place. There was one family playing games, and they seemed to be having a great time.. As usual, I haven't rated the food as I didn't eat here.
