Great venue for live bands. Small place but the stage, the sound, the light show and the atmosphere is fantastic. Saw Evergrey there and they were fantastic. Good selection of drinks and beers etc. Wasn't a queue to get in. Plenty WC available. In a great part of Manchester along Deansgate locks. Easy to get a taxi from after the event. They also have space for the usual merchandise stalls to buy t-shirt or hoodies etc for the bands that were on that night. Prices for the beer was very reasonable. Didn't eat anything in there so not sure if the do food or bar snacks. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to see a live band at a smaller venue as you are pretty much right in front of the stage so obviously get a great view of the band up close.

One of the best small venues I've been to, went last year and again this year. There is not enough of these "dive bar" types of venues about these days. Seen plenty of great bands there, sounds system is heavily invested in and it shows, also the bar has a top quality choice of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks available. Top Notch!

Real nice intimate venue. Good sound, easy to get a good view, nice security people, house beer was good, toilets were clean. Shame about the drain smell in the place but I appreciate those problems can be complicated and expensive to resolve.

Brilliant little music venue. Reminded me of the old Planet X in Liverpool from the 80's but a bit smaller. Parking close by. Train station nearer. Look forward to going again to see some great bands before they get big.
