Its a good library, if you want to study though go somewhere else. There are children constantly screaming in the other rooms and there's no wall to separate them from the quiet study rooms.

Staff are RUDE. Every time I've been in here they act like you're an inconvenience being there. Selection of books is also really poor. Toilets cold and dirty. Southfields one down the road is a hundred times better.

I may be old fashioned but in my opinion libraries should be placed of quiet where one can read or study, it is just impossible at the Wimbledon library as there are too many screaming kids as people bring them here as a free soft play option or there are fitness lessons with loud music, even the “quiet room” has music piped it as some sort of white noise to isolate you from rest of the caos. I try and come here as I place to have my kids do their homework in a quiet studious setting but it is becoming impossible, even they ask me to leave after a short time because it is too noisy and they cannot concentrate.

Adding my voice to the other reviewers saying its too noisy. Why can't there be just one place in world where it is quiet. Just one place where people turn their phones off? I was in there the other day when a guy was charging his phone whilst blasting TikTok out of it. Mobiles phones have ruined the cinema, the theatre, live concerts, even travelling on public transport. Please, for the love of God, can they not ruin libraries as well. There are dozens of cafes in Wimbledon, why does the library need to have one too? I couldn't get to the "A" section of books because the cafe tables were too close to the shelves. And i appreciate that its not always possible to stop a young child from screaming but then don't have them in a library. It is unlikely that I will use Wimbledon Library in future.
