March 2025This is one of the BEST pubs in london! I absolutely love taking my friends and family here and it’s always a great experience. It’s in a prime location next to the Tower of London / Tower Bridge and sits hidden just off from the Themes at St Kathryns way. The food here is always very good (classic pub food) and the atmosphere here is great! You’ll meet some great people at this pub, it’s not really much of a locals pub as such as you’ll meet people from all around the world just sat on tables next to you. I tend to have the pepperoni pizza and it’s absolutely delicious. The prices aren’t too expensive either given its location. The service is always excellent and the bar staff are always a pleasure to talk to. This is my favourite London pub and I always recommend it to anyone I know who’s going to London.

January 2025Great pub and in quite possibly the most picturesque location in London! We came early January for lunch and were not disappointed. The service was quick and attentive. Slightly annoyed as they had a fryer broken so we couldn't order the "Scotch egg" or the "cauliflower wings," and after some back and fourth, the starters we had instead were very nice. For mains, we all enjoyed our food, the chicken schnitzel was great, fish was slightly overcooked but all was eaten. Beer on the taps needed more gas, according to my wife, who used to work in a pub, so the 4 pints we had were ok bit flat but drinkable, we did get them changed but was still the same result. Overall, we would come back, the food was fresh, tasty, and the location is spot on!

March 2025I really like this place, mainly for its view and location. The pub spans multiple floors, and you can sit on the balcony, which offers an even better view. The food is decent.

March 2025The Grill at The Dickens Inn has a rustic ambiance with wooden beams and a cozy atmosphere. We ordered a burger n Seabass fish. The burger was generously portioned and well-cooked, while the seabass was fresh and flavorful, though the bed of vegetables was inconsistently heated, with some parts even cold. Service was good, and the overall experience was pleasant. The starters creamy mushroom w spinach was amazing. However, the apple berry crumble was just average—not particularly memorable. Overall, I’d rate the experience a 3.5 out of 5.

March 2025We were excited to come to this place but we were disappointed with the food. The risotto didn’t have rice (which is the main point of risotto right?) and the mac and cheese didn’t taste at all (something really difficult to find). The salad was good though. I really think the food can be improved a lot in this restaurant
