Opening in autumn 2017, this new venue has some big names behind it.

A project from theatre heavyweights Sir Nicholas Hytner and Nick Starr, it has been designed by award-winning architects Haworth Tompkins, and will be the only large commercial theatre in central London that isn’t in the West End. A sizeable auditorium – primarily used for theatre productions – will also be well-suited to conferences and product launches. The Main Foyer is the spot for receptions of up to 350 guests.

Bright and contemporary, the space’s highlights are its huge atrium ceiling and views of Tower Bridge, The Tower of London and Potters Field.

The Lower Ground Foyer is a cosy option, and comes with a 60in screen – great for small presentations and receptions.

In-house catering comes from St JOHN restaurant.

Our main foyer is filled with light and boasts stunning views of the Thames and Tower Bridge. With our iconic lampshades hung through there's always the perfect photo opportunity.

It fits 400 people comfortably and is a great space for fundraisers, corporate events, product launches and award ceremonies (morning and afternoon only if a show is on).

You must order the cheese soufflé! We were so surprised by this dish, and we had ordered a lot of different things to try. All the dishes are of good standard. We had a waitress in training and her seniors were great with ensuring she learned how to process our gift card and made lovely suggestions. The view is best from outside but the garden fence blocking the view is for the benefit of the customers privacy. If you’re wanting a restaurant with a view, it’s ok here, but a bit close .

Wow!! The Sunday roast dinner was absolutely delicious! Better than I expected. I’m very pleased with the food, the service and the overall atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was a good portion, I didn’t even finish it all because it was so nice and filling, I was stuffed lol. The chicken was nicely cooked, the Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes were lovely, and the vegetables complimented the food well too. The waiters were very nice and friendly, it was a very warm and professional service. I’ll definitely come back, I’d like to try the other meals. Had a great time!

Item: Salt & Pepper Squid Tempura Taste: 8/10 Opinion: Portion wasn't enough. A bit bigger portion would be worth of value. Squid tastes super delicious. One of the best squid I have ever tried so far. Recommendation: Yes Item: Blackened Cod Fillet Taste: 9/10 Opinion: Fish was tenderly cooked. Juicy and well seasoned. Sauces and vegetables enhanced the taste. Tried this dish with Jasmine Rice Recommendation: Yes Item: Smoked Haddock & Salmon Fishcake Taste: 8/10 Opinion: Just like a regular fish cake. Thick Cut Chips was our side choice. Recommendation: Yes Item: The Ivy Chocolate Bombe Taste: 10/10 Opinion: Must go dessert from the menu. One of their theatre served item. Recommendation: Yes Thanks for your kind hospitality!

Located just off the iconic Tower Bridge and next to the Tower Bridge Theatre, The Ivy Tower Bridge benefits from a prime location with a steady flow of customers. We recently had brunch there and found the food to be fresh and well-prepared, but nothing particularly memorable. I ordered the Eggs Royale with Ivy-cured smoked salmon, which was decent but didn’t stand out compared to other brunch spots in London. The staff were generally attentive and friendly. However, towards the end of the meal, one of the waiters—a white male—abruptly pulled the table paper cloth from under my hands while clearing the table. It felt unprofessional and gave the impression that we were being rushed, possibly due to high demand for tables. Overall, while the setting is great and service mostly polite, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. Given the food’s mediocrity and the service issue, I’d rate it on the lower side. Would I return? Probably not in a hurry.
