February 2025Cottons Restaurant boasts a beautiful and relaxing interior with friendly service. However, what truly disappointed me was the loud music, blasting offensive lyrics including the N-word and B-word, echoing throughout the restaurant. It made it nearly impossible to have a conversation with family and friends. My question is: why isn’t anyone monitoring the language in the music? As for the food, my starter, the Jerk Chicken Spring Roll with mixed salad, lemongrass, chili dressing, and sweet chili sauce, was enjoyable. The main course, Curry Goat with rice and peas and coleslaw, was absolutely spot on—well-seasoned, slow-cooked, and beautifully presented. Dessert, a cheesecake, was also excellently made.

February 2025Not great but not terrible either. Service was slow, but staff were friendly enough when they did come. Food was okay but didn’t feel authentic. Could have caught a bad day so would give them another try. Just didn’t hit the spot on the day. Also a small hair in our starter :(
