December 2024An oasis of peace and beauty in the heart of London The Royal Foundation of St. Katharine is truly an oasis in the heart of London. It's a rare gem offering peace and serenity amidst the bustle of the city. The beautiful garden and the profound silence make it feel like a hidden retreat—something you wouldn't expect to find in London. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are cozy, and the beds are wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Although I didn’t try the breakfast, the delicious aroma of freshly toasted bread greeted me every morning, which was a lovely touch. The location is slightly outside the city center, which might not be ideal for some. However, this is easily solved by the excellent bus connections just around the corner, making it simple to get wherever you need to go. My favorite spaces were the lounge and the garden. I spent several evenings in the lounge, doing some art, and it was so peaceful that it felt almost surreal. If you’re looking for a tranquil place to unwind, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a haven of calm in the middle of a vibrant city, and the minor inconvenience of distance is well worth the incredible experience.

December 2024200 meters from the DLR-line, this original, friendly and very peaceful place is an oasis in the outskirts of London, which is well connected because of the proximity of the station. Very affordable. Super and abundant breakfast. Ask for room 1, 2 or 3. They’re worth the higher price.
