Los Mochis, situated in the heart of Notting Hill, offers a unique culinary experience by blending the vibrancy, passion, and heat of Mexico with the cool elegance and precision of Japan, making them global pioneers of Baja-Nihon cuisine. From the food and drinks to the decor and service, Los Mochis weaves a Pan-Pacific ethos into every aspect of your dining experience.
The restaurant has two main dining rooms located on the ground and first floors.
Specially curated set menus are available for all private events as well as canape menus for less formal dining options. These menus contain a selection of some of our signature and most popular dishes.
The first floor houses a more exclusive dining area, featuring wall-to-wall windows and distinctive artwork, that's perfect for various events including corporate lunchtime meetings, brunches and after work drinks. On the same floor, the bar and lounge offer a selection of delightful signature cocktails, allowing guests to indulge in a welcome reception before proceeding to the dining room for either a seated dinner or a standing event.

February 2025We ended up at Los Mochis by chance this past Friday! My friend and I were in the area looking for a restaurant with gluten-free options, and to our surprise, we found out that the entire menu is gluten-free! The food is simply amazing—tapas-style with a fusion of Asian and Mexican flavors. Every dish was a 10/10, but the wagyu tataki was out of this world! The service was magnificent from the moment we arrived. The host was so lovely, and our waiter was incredibly helpful—their recommendations for both food and wine were spot on. The prices are more than reasonable. Without a doubt, this place has made it onto our list of favorites, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

March 2025The food and cocktails were fantastic, as always. Added bonus was having Abdul as our server. He was attentive and kind from the second we sat in his section. Highly recommend this restaurant - recommend to be seated with Abdul!

April 2025Absolutely amazing! Staff is great and atmosphere is so fun yet laid back. A great date spot. The food was IMMACULATE, I honestly couldn't stop eating. The staff was incredibly attentive and had spot on recommendations; though I suspect that there are no bad choices. The Seabass ceviche cannot be missed!

January 2025We had a nice time. You order small plates to share. My husband enjoyed the duck a lot. I enjoyed the sushi roll with the jalapeños on top the most. It cost £110 per person. There’s a service fee added on the bill. It’s nice to have a 100% gf restaurant. Well there are 2 of these locations.

January 2025I visited Los Mochis this morning and ordered the pancakes, banana muffin, and matcha muffin. The pancakes were flavourful, though the portion size was notably small. The banana muffin, described as “banana bread,” was enjoyable but slightly misleading, and the matcha muffin, while appealing in concept, was dry and underwhelming for its £5 price. Although almond milk wasn’t available, the coffee was excellent and well prepared. The service was outstanding, staff were attentive, welcoming, and highly professional. However, the temperature in the restaurant was quite cold, which detracted slightly from the overall comfort. While there is room for improvement in portion sizes, menu accuracy, and overall ambiance, the excellent service and quality coffee made for an enjoyable visit.
