I was in London taking dawn to dusk photographs mainly from the nearby South Bank. My daughter had visited the White Hart a few days earlier and recommended it to me. I love a good Fuller’s pub and this was certainly a good pub. I was warmly welcomed. I had a couple of pints of London Pride. This has been well kept and was the best that I had tasted recently. Lunch was steak & ale pie, chips and green vegetables. The pie was good and meaty and the chips and vegetables were cooked to perfection. I felt that a few more chips and a spoonful or two more of the vegetables would have made the meal more generous and value for money. Despite this it was extremely good. My last pint was Grand Slam; a pleasant zesty special Fuller’s ale. The atmosphere was great. Music was played as background at low volume, the staff were friendly, polite and efficient. A few locals were there to add to the ambiance. When in London again I will certainly visit this lovely pub again.
