Magazine London is a new event space for the capital. The venue boasts 3,205 sq m of versatile interior space for up to 3,000 people and can extend to accommodate a further 7,000 people across the venue’s extensive outdoor showground. The site itself is quite unique, providing phenomenal views of the River Thames and Canary Wharf skyline; it’s only a 3-minute walk from North Greenwich station.

Both Mezzanines in the venue are accessible via two black steel staircases in Space 1 and can be utilised as VIP areas or as overflow for higher guest numbers; they can also operate as break-out, seminar and exhibition space.

Mezzanine 2 overlooks both spaces and provides access to The Balcony, an intimate area featuring stained timber decking and black steel railings. The Balcony serves as an impeccable viewing platform for the River Thames and Canary Wharf skyline.

Great event location with easy access via North Greenwich station (same used to access The O2). Big open spaces to adapt as needed with huge windows across the Thames toward London City. Probably needs the surrounding areas cleaned up a bit, as feels half finished in a construction zone. Overall though a pretty impressive Center, but difficult to have multiple streams running at same time (they used the headphones used for silent discos when 3 streams were running concurrently. Toilets probably a bit small for the number of people it could allow entry to - so breaks between sessions would need to be considered. Painted in black it’s a good canvas for branding offering a clean slate for the event and brands participating.
