There’s nowhere quite like the City of London. Not only is it the oldest, most historic part of London, it is the world’s leading international business center. At weekends the City of London is a quiet oasis of tranquility, with beautiful architecture, great commuter links & good parking facilities, you may ask yourself why you haven’t considered the City before. Browns, Old Jewry occupies a fantastic location in the City of London, close to the Bank of England and Bank underground station. The building used to be the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Privacy curtain separating the room from the rest of the restaurant. Modern interiors and low lighting. Availbale dor breakfast meetings, lunches and dinners.

Exceptional Service & Dining at Browns Old Jewry We came for a business lunch on a Wednesday. From the moment we arrive the host team at Browns Old Jewry made us feel truly welcome. Their warm hospitality, efficiency, and attention to detail elevated our dining experience. The food was outstanding—beautifully presented, full of flavor, and perfectly cooked. From delicious mains to expertly crafted cocktails, every element of our meal was a delight. A huge thank you to the entire teams for their impeccable service and genuine enthusiasm. Browns Old Jewry is a must-visit, and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Waiters were very attentive. Good wine selection. Atmosphere was calm but nice for group socialising on a weekday evening. The burger was a bit salty and they didn't have two options available from the menu, which was disappointing. If it were local, I would go again to see if there were things missing from the menu again. If it doesn't happen often, I would recommend this place, however I wouldn't know and I won't be returning as it's far from home. The photos show the one burger option and the shepherds pie.

Average food, cold space and appealing service for a high price. Not even once we have been asked if our food is up to our liking or we need anything else. Would I recommend? No. Would I return? No, I rather would go to somewhere else.
