Smashing steakhouse right in the heart of Theatreland that was recommended to me by someone who really knows their meat. This was hands down one of the best steakhouses I have been to, with perfectly cooked and tasty native breed West Country beef, and a decent truffles mac 'n' cheese, a rarity in London. Starters were good but took a while to arrive, and the wine selection and cocktails is decently apportioned and of the highest quality. The vibe is open, airy and a touch informal, a little different for a steakhouse and reminded me of the amazing Tramshed. Lots of space, easy to get a booking, and a snug(ger) back room where the open kitchen is, plus a cozy-looking covered terrace. It's not exclusively wed to meat so I'd recommend this for a variety of occasions with a variety of crowds. Came to around £two hundred for two, three courses, service charge and a few drinks.

We went to Sophie’s SoHo for their Sunday Roast. The atmosphere is really unique with the huge grill in the center of the restaurant, great to see the chefs interacting with the meats. On the upper level it can get a bit warm. Food was great, I especially recommend the rump steak and the pork belly. The dessert was good but not great. We are definitely coming back for their full menu.

The Sunday roast is excellent! I ordered the beef, and it came with the typical vegetables. Everything was fresh and super tasty! The price is a bit high compared to the other pubs, but it is in central London, and you will have one of the best Sunday roasts in a lovely venue, with soft live music!

A very mixed experience! Firstly lovely restaurant cooking Concept. Open wood pit fire at the front of the kitchen but can make this dining area very hot. The Service really let's this place down! Long waits for drinks, no serving spoon with the bowl of mixed veg and even had to ask for a dessert menu? Next the meat was ok, we did have to send two steaks back to be cooked more. Can't see how the £120 sharing platter would serve 3 adults. Didn't see the point of serving the bones with the meat! Just fatty and messy. On a positive note the sides were very good but a lack of quantity on the single roast dinners. Would probably return but would skip the beef next time. Live Music in the lower bar area.

Great place to catch a quick drink and snacks before a theater show.. unless you going for a burger i am not convinced it's a great place for a dinner. Starters are great for a bar vibe with plenty of seating. Group of friends on a Friday night is what this bar is for. Little more attention to cleanliness always goes along way but having to wipe glasses that are on your table could be better standard. However service is fast the Male Maitre'd is excellent and atmosphere vibrant
