The Green Room at The Star Of Kings is one of the hidden joys of the venue. Located upstairs from the main bar area, it is a decorative and elegant space suitable for any party, meeting, or sit-down meal. It can hold up to 30 people seated or 60 standing. A room ideally suited to any celebration.

The room is just along the corridor from our Karaoke room, so is perfect to reserve for before or after singing. It features a TV which can be used for presentations or watching live sport (terrestrial only). It also features an air conditioning system to keep you cool in summer.

December 2024Absolutely fantastic venue to hire for an event! I held my 30th birthday party in the Behind the Bookcase space and I can’t fault anything. The staff stayed in contact on the lead up to the day, making sure we had everything we needed and, again, shone on the day with their helpfulness. From setting up the music to choosing lighting, they didn’t miss a thing! We had also hired a photo pod and the guys ensured the setting up of this was seamless. Ray was behind the bar and received multiple compliments from my guests about his service. And personally I want to thank Steph and Laura who were also so friendly and went above and beyond to help me have the most perfect night! Do not hesitate to book/hire their event spaces, you will not be disappointed!!

October 2022Popped in here for the first time on a Friday afternoon and really liked the place. Really attractive decor, two rooms, and a lovely enclosed seating area out front. Beer is craft, rather than cask, but supporting primarily local breweries. Friendly staff too. The karaoke in the evenings doesn’t appeal, but each to their own!
