For our seven nights in London, we were looking for a hotel in the Paddington area (for access to Paddington Station) that served breakfast. We chose 72QT because it got good reviews, was located steps from Kensington Gardens, and because it amused me to stay in such a unique place. It also helped that the price was more than satisfactory. The room was clean and comfortable and (of course) small. It contained a sink, and there were two bathrooms (a full one and a sink/toilet) literally next door. Breakfast was basic (fried egg, slice of Canadian bacon, triangle of potato, roll, and small dish of baked beans), and also on offer was toast, yogurt, cereal, tea, juice, and a coffee maker that could do you anything from an Americano to double espresso. The staff was friendly and helpful. Tip: there are no elevators, so if that's a problem, request a ground floor room. Within walking distance of two Tube stops (Queensway and Bayswater), and several shops with packaged dinners and restaurants. Will stay here again!

TV didn't work in the room, no lift so had to lug a large case up two long flights of stairs and a shared bathroom, breakfast was okay. No frills, it is what it is a reasonably priced guest house.
