My experience with this company went downhill FAST. My initial interaction with the sales associate Sonia was good (she was awkward but nice enough) but all that changed once they received payment in advance of the event. She was chaotic and unorganised and had to be contacted about items which were in her remit such as a food tasting, parking situation, decor options, music, table layouts amongst other things. I paid the initial 30% deposit via bank transfer and when the rest was due she demanded cash - we came to an agreement and I gave 50% of the remaining amount by cash (Tax evasion? I’ll let HMRC decide). To put a long story short, these are the things that were wrong on the day of: 1. Stage decor was wrong 2. Dessert was incorrect - they agreed £100 compensation with my family, not me who paid for the whole wedding, so I couldn’t go back on my family’s word so I took it even though it was an insulting offer in my opinion 3. Spice level of the food was incorrect (I’m Asian and I had an interracial marriage so we specified LOW spice but it was spicier than the food tasting day) 4. The number of tables set out on the day were incorrect - we only had 100 guests and needed 10 tables of 10 and a head table of 8 as all the tables would not be full, this was agreed by the service provider. On the day they tried to force payment for an additional 10 people and said that my now husband agreed to pay (he did not) and payment would need to be made before I entered the venue. LOL imagine telling the bride she can’t enter her own wedding without settling a fake invoice. When I disputed this the lady proceeded to tell me that “something is wrong with me” and that “something had gotten into me”. Yes - you were trying to scam me on my wedding day. Her attitude was (excuse my language) ASS. I told her to put the table out and that I wasn’t going to pay an additional fee as I was still only having 100 guests - I essentially said I would rather starve so she processed to instruct them to take the plates, cutlery and decor off the head table. 5. There is no security provided (later I was told that they were directing my guests in the parking lot, away from the venue as they don’t have parking). This was a lie because my guests still parked in the parking lot and their parking was validated by the lovely people in the bar restaurant 6. The microphone and sound system is trash but they already know this because I can see it mentioned in the other reviews 7. Also they only played music for my guests when I, the bride, walked in despite being provided with the playlist in advance and being told that she would download the songs and play them to then be told they don’t have Spotify and I should give her my log in etc - all this while waiting to make my entrance All this to say AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Once they get your money their customer service skills go down the drain and they do not deliver on their promises. I have made numerous attempts to reach a resolution with the sales associate (Sonia), manager and director/part owner (Saiful) of the venue since August 2024 but to no avail and I have now been blocked from communication. They love money more than they value their customers. Take your hard earned money else where.
