Great museum lots of permanent exhibitions plus several experiences which change from time to time The exhibits are held on several floors all easily accessible by stairs or lifts which are plentiful The museum also has several gift shops and a book shop with lots of choice for all ages Finally the museum has a really good cafe selling a selection of hot and cold dishes

Very interesting if you’re into that. Everything from WW1, WW2, The Troubles, and so much more - there’s even a piece of the Berlin Wall outside of the building. In my personal experience, you should plan at least 3 hours to truly visit it. But it will be worth your time.

Retracing the history of extraordinary people and events in a world torn apart by conflicts and global wars. A brilliant museum you can visit freely filled with amazing stories of people that protected our world from tyranny and oppression. Staff is always accessible and friendly. A nice place, very well laid out and organised. Very informative, touching and reflective. A must visit and enjoy!

Visiting the Imperial War Museum in London was an unforgettable experience. The museum is incredibly well-organized, offering a wealth of valuable information about significant historical events, conflicts, and their impact on society. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, blending artifacts, personal stories, and multimedia presentations that bring history to life in a compelling way. The attention to detail and depth of information provided is remarkable, making it both educational and deeply moving. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just curious about the past, this museum has something for everyone. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend a visit to anyone in London—it’s a must-see destination that offers insight, reflection, and inspiration. A truly fantastic experience!

Great FREE museum with gorgeous informative displays. Go early because you can lose track of time reading/listening to the display captions. Little café has lots of seating and is a good souvenir shop.
