Smith & Wollensky has been serving up the finest USDA Prime dry-aged steaks in America since it first opened its doors in New York in 1977.
After winning the heart of the Big Apple, those award-winning steaks were soon to be found all across the States, from the windy city of Chicago to the hot sands of Miami Beach. Last year, Smith & Wollensky launched its first London site in the historic Grade II_listed Adelphi Building just off the Strand, offering a selection of signature USDA Prime dry-aged steaks and premium seafood, alongside award-winning wines and classic cocktails.
The venue is ideal for large scale parties and events such as product launches, gala/charity dinners, film premiers, award ceremonies, weddings, fashion shows and live music performances. The space can be dressed to suit any theme or to reflect your corporate brand identity.

Cancellation policy
In the event of a cancellation within seven business days prior to the scheduled event, the deposit will NOT be refunded. If the event is cancelled 72 hours or less prior to the event date, the minimum spend requirement will be charged against the credit card provided for the deposit.

December 2024One of the best dining experiences we've ever had. My husband and I have been very lucky to have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the world and Smith and Wollensky has gone straight to the top of that list. We visited December 10th 2024 and upon walking in, it's like being transported to 1920's New York. The decor and ambience is superb. We went as part of our honeymoon celebration and they treated us like royalty. Champagne quickly arrived at our table and every single course of food was utterly outstanding. The balance of flavours and quality of food was totally exquisite. We are still in awe. We can honestly say we were sad to see the night end (which never happens)! Thank you so so so much to all the staff, but especially Kristian for making our visit so special. We are already planning our next trip back, we can't wait! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

February 2025Special Birthday Dinner 9th February 2025 On 20/11/24 I booked dinner for my family member birthday. I spoke to Bernadette to explain that my family member is allergic to all nuts. She reassured me that that my family member would be fine. I also spoke to Susanna a manager who said they cater for customers who are allergic to nuts. On 09/02/25 we dined at 7:30 pm. A young gentleman came to our table and introduced himself as Richard the manager. I spoke to him about my family member nut allergies and he stated that my family member would be fine. We both asked for our Ribeye steak to be well done. However, when our steaks arrived i immediately used the knife to cut up the meal and was alarmed that inside the steak was bloody. I immediately called the manager and he took our plates containing the steaks said he will ask the chef to cook new steaks well done. After a while the manager returned with our steaks and chips. We were very impressed because the steaks were well done and succulent. We would like to thank the waiter Mack who was very attentive. The steaks were excellent. Due to my family member is allergic to all nuts the manager gave a complimentary dessert wine to celebrate her birthday and also gave 40 percent discount off the dinner. We were very impressed and told the manager that because of the excellent customer service we will attend the restaurant again.

February 2025Excellent wine menu, delicious starters, great sides & premium steaks. The steaks were cooked to perfection, seasoned well and flavoursome, and the cheesecake was pretty good, too. The restaurant also had a nice ambience, attentive service, and overall, everything was executed well. Certainly better than Hawksmoor and certainly on par with Goodmans.

February 2025Me and my friend had a great experience,first of all I loved the white , black and green colours of the restaurant. Food was delicious, my American sirloin was fantastic I highly recommend it, also the steak tartare it’s one of the best I ever had . The place has got a very good atmosphere and specially when the waiter come with a special steak and flame it in front of you. Service was good, we had a nice chat with the waitress about the differences from American feed steak and the Angus one . Definitely my favourite American steak house so far.

March 2025Service was great. Food was not great. I had the worse dish in London compared to other high end restaurants. I ordered a roasted pork dish. The waitress described the dish as pork wrapped around turnips. When the dish arrived, it is super fat pork belly that displayed in round shape. Nothing like what the server described. Very misleading and food was overcooked.
