January 2025The experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The décor and first impression were great, but the service left something to be desired. When we were seated—presumably by the manager / receptionist—we were completely forgotten about. After bringing it to his attention, we received prompt service from a very attentive waitress. From that point, everything improved, and she even went the extra mile by lending me her personal power bank to charge my phone. Kudos to her, as she SINGLE-HANDEDLY salvaged this review. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she looked after our table, table of two guys near the balcony/terrace access until the closing time, so you can find her if needed. On the downside, when we mentioned to another waiter that our chips were cold, he shrugged it off and told us to speak to someone else. I found this completely unacceptable—it felt like a metaphorical middle finger to the customer. Thankfully, we were in good spirits, laughed it off, and decided not to escalate. However, when the same brilliant waitress returned, she resolved the issue quickly and followed up to make sure everything was fine. Perhaps management should consider promoting her or giving her a role in staff training, as she clearly outshines others, including management, who seem to lack proper customer service skills. As for the food, it was enjoyable, and the Monday deal was great value for money.

December 2024A pretty cool spot to eat! As a Canadian, it was neat to see some North American influence in a restaurant in London. It felt like being home, except the concept of this place is quite far from where I live. We just have similar things. The food was excellent, and would definitely return for that. However, service wasn't very good. It seemed like the server was more concentrated on the tables that had people drinking a lot. We rarely had someone come to our table to ask us what we wanted, and it took almost 30 minutes after seating for someone to take our order. It was averagely busy, so I think staffing needs to be increased.

February 2025Came in for a bit of a late dinner on a Sunday evening. We had to wait before sitting as we didn’t have a booking. It was fully booked which is always good to hear about a restaurant. It took roughly 5 minutes wait before being seated. Good choice for gluten free The food was great. Seafood dish was great. The bbq platter was good the pulled pork was a little dry but all in all was great night out. Service was good, we were waiting a little however nothing to really complain. The live music is a really good touch with food. No gluten free desserts which is disappointing.

March 2025First time at The Big Easy. I would have given it 4* except that I thought the food could have been a bit warmer. Cheese was cold on the nachos and the fries weren't particularly hot. My burger was very nice though. My son's first time trying lobster. Not too sure he was very impressed only due to the fact that he has to break the claw to get at the meat😁. Service was good with the people being friendly and attentive. The waiter deducted the nachos off of the bill when we were leaving. The venue is really nice inside and had good music playing in the background. Thank you for a pleasurable Sunday lunchtime feast.

March 2025Thought the food would be better having looked at reviews. I was bitterly disappointed. There was not enough bbq sauce on my burger, got up to ask a member of staff for some and stood next to 3 of them for 5 minutes being ignored after I had already said “excuse me”. Terrible service. The bar staff took ages to take our order too, one of them was faffing around with receipts in his pocket instead of serving the many people that were waiting. It was really loud inside and I’m used to a lot of noise. There were loads of empty seats yet we had to wait 30 mins for a seat. Won’t be returning.
