Munich Cricket Club introduces a unique German Bierkeller at West India Quay's dockside. Featuring a spacious garden terrace, an extensive selection of imported Munich beers, and a classic Bavarian menu, it's an ideal spot for group gatherings.

You can reserve various private areas, and for special occasions, enjoy party kegs of Munich favorites like Paulaner. Guests can pour their own steins from mini barrels right at their table. Pair your drinks with sharing platters of wursts, schnitzel, cured meats, and pretzels for the ultimate experience.

Looking for the prefect space to host your next event, look no further than the 'Ground Floor' at Munich Cricket Club in Canary Wharf.

Our large beer hall features long rustic wooden benches, exposed brick walls, huge supporting beams and access to our Biergarten courtyard with its original cobblestones.

This space is perfect for drinks receptions, private dinners and any form of celebration. Hire this space individually or alongside our Biergarten for an event with a large outside area.

Why not celebrate the festive period in our traditional Bierhalle, and bring a Bavarian twist to your usual Christmas party!

Our festive package this year includes either a 3 course formal meal from £34.95 per person or if you would prefer a more informal standing reception then why not opt for some Bavarian sharing boards with one of our many drinks packages.

The venue really does go the full Bavarian for Christmas with an in-house Oompah Band ready to delight both you and your guests as they rock to the classics.

We still have a few dates left for the festive season so please do contact one of the team to enquire today.

One of the best giant pretzels I’ve ever had! Not the ones drenched in butter. Crunchy outside and properly dense. Platters make a feast! The knuckles! Juicy was flowing out when I was cutting the meat. Crunchy crust and tender meat. The schnitzels are nicely seasoned, savory and citrusy. The spicy sausages are lovely and others too. The mushroom sauce is so rich and aromatic. Curry sauce is aromatic. The gravy is lowkey in comparison but tastes nice too. The fries are better than average in UK, crispy.

armed with so much enthusiasm we went in search of a pork shank cooked in the Bavarian style. We found this place on Canary Wharf, the area is modern but at the same time welcoming, at the entrance we were greeted by the staff in Bavarian dress, the place is quite characteristic. The tables above were full and we were placed downstairs, the atmosphere was nice but too dark in my opinion, it was also difficult to read the menus. After ordering the beers arrived immediately, nice to look at but the taste didn't convince me, something was missing, they were not very carbonated... almost flat. After about 30 minutes of waiting the dishes arrived, they looked good, but honestly there was nothing exciting, in addition to being almost cold the taste was poor, even the side dishes were disappointing and the lack of the classic roasted vegetables was felt. We ordered the Goulash, it was very spicy and it wasn't written on the menu. The service was also unprofessional, after they delivered the food we were abandoned, no one ever came to ask if we needed anything, for the bill we had to go upstairs. Even for cleanliness it was not satisfactory, the place was very dirty downstairs, it seemed abandoned and I would recommend doing some thorough checks...
