January 2025We recently stayed at the Blakemore for a family break. We stayed in a triple room on the 5th floor, which was spacious and quiet. The hotel is incredibly well located for theatre trips and sightseeing. Our review is 5* as my daughter lost her teddy bear, having left it in her bed. After a trip to reception late at night, he was back with us before breakfast. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful service.

February 2025What an amazing evening at The Blakemore Hotel. A beautiful insta win for a valentines meal and one night stay. The bar had a relaxing atmosphere with live music from a talented young lady. The 3 course meal was absolutely delicious with complimentary Drinks/Cocktails. But to top everything off, the staff and customer service was 10/10 for us! Polite, helpful, and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend The Blakemore Hotel to anyone. Thank you again for a beautiful evening.

February 2025I had a wonderful Valentine’s Afternoon Tea at Blakemore Hyde Park Hotel! 💕 I appreciate them havingHalal-friendly option (Halal chicken & non-alcoholic desserts available on request), making it an inclusive and thoughtful experience. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were truly lovely—from the lady concierge who took my request and warmly welcomed me to the attentive servers who made sure we had everything we needed. At £31.95 with the 20% off discount, it was great value for an elegant and relaxing tea. Highly recommend!

February 2025The hotel’s location is perfect, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The bar served an excellent gin and tonic, and the breakfast was enjoyable, though the dining room felt overcrowded, making it hard to fully relax during the meal. The rooms, however, could use some updating—basic features like smart TVs were missing, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable. While there are some great aspects, the overall experience would greatly benefit from these improvements.

February 2025I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with my experience. The room advertised as having a Queen-size bed actually had a smaller bed, which was uncomfortable. The heating didn't function properly, and even after turning it down to zero, the room remained uncomfortably hot. I had to open the window, which was right next to a train line, making it hard to sleep. When I raised these issues with the manager, I was told to send an email, and the bed size issue was dismissed. Overall, it was not a pleasant stay, and I hope the hotel addresses these concerns for future guests. Additionally, the food was average at best. I ordered a medium-rare steak, which was cooked well done, so I ended up having a separate meal instead of sharing with my wife.
