The Victorian Theatre preserved in a beautiful state of arrested decay and frozen in time lends itself perfectly for all type of events; from product launches, to conferences and corporate events. While retaining the charm and character of the Victorian theatre, the space has been upgraded with lighting and fittings for events that would require a high level of production. The Theatre's seating is flexible and can be modified for a number of configuration including: theatre style, banqueting and standing reception. Make your event one to remember at Alexandra Palace.
The theatre has seen some incredible events such as Earth Shot Awards, Later... with Jools Holland and most recently has been the location for some incredible film shoots such as Spiderman and Bob Marley: One Love.

April 2025Alexandra Palace is a stunning historic venue with breathtaking views over London. It blends rich history with modern entertainment—ideal for concerts, exhibitions, or a scenic walk. The parkland is vast, and the architecture is iconic. A must-visit for culture, nature, and skyline lovers alike.

March 2025,,Ally Pally is London's largest independent music venue, a grade II listed fixer upper, a pint with a view, 196 acres of nature, dancing on ice, young Londoners finding their voices, London's oldest new theatre, darts, daredevils & fireworks. " You can also find there the BBC Tower, Gape adventure park, crêpes and coffes, even a lovely lake where you can ride unicorns, etc... Friendly note: It is on the hill so be prepared for a sweaty walking exercise or take the bus or car to save your make-up or avoid next day muscle ache in your legs. Have fun!

March 2025What a great venue. We arrived early so we could walk around. The concert was amazing as was all the staff at Alexander Palace. We watched Alan Walker on his Walker world tour what a great show Alan put on. Hope the pics do it justice.

April 2025Absolutely stunning building would love to go and watch something at the theatre. We were visiting the ice rink as our sons had an ice hockey match. The rink was in great condition we look forward to going for a skate session there at some point. If you park in the car park and go into the foyer you can enter the registration of your car and park there no charge for the rest of your visit. After hockey we walked to the pub right next door to the AP and they sell delicious stone baked pizza. 🍕

May 2025Perched high above the city in North London, Alexandra Palace—affectionately known as Ally Pally—is a striking blend of history, entertainment, and green space. With sweeping views across the capital and a reputation for hosting unforgettable events, it remains one of the city's most beloved landmarks. A Touch of Victorian Grandeur Built in 1873, Alexandra Palace boasts impressive Victorian architecture, with ornate glass, ironwork, and vast open halls. Though parts of the palace retain a slightly faded charm, recent restorations—particularly the East Court and the long-abandoned theatre—have breathed new life into the venue, merging heritage with contemporary use. A Hub of Culture and Events Whether it’s hosting major concerts, comedy acts, exhibitions, or even darts tournaments, the palace delivers a grand and atmospheric setting. The recently restored theatre offers a unique experience for more intimate performances, with its raw, historically sensitive refurbishment creating a deeply evocative space. Ice Skating and Family Fun The year-round ice rink is a major draw for families, schools, and amateur skaters alike. The surrounding grounds also offer a boating lake, skate park, pitch & putt course, and a charming deer enclosure—all of which make Alexandra Palace a full day out, particularly for families and active visitors. Panoramic Parkland Surrounding the palace is a vast 196-acre park, which is arguably one of the best spots in London for a sunset. The South Terrace delivers sweeping views across the skyline, while tree-lined paths, flower gardens, and grassy hills make it perfect for everything from quiet walks to lively festivals. Food, Drink & Local Flavour Food and drink options inside the palace are decent if a little on the pricey side, especially during events. However, the nearby areas of Muswell Hill and Crouch End offer fantastic alternatives for cafés, pubs, and restaurants, all within walking distance. Getting There Although not directly on the Tube, Alexandra Palace is easily accessible via Alexandra Palace railway station (Zone 3), with frequent trains and bus routes. Be prepared for a bit of an uphill walk—but the view from the top is well worth the effort. Whether you’re catching a concert, taking in the view, skating with the kids, or just enjoying a peaceful stroll, Alexandra Palace offers something truly special. It's a London landmark that wears its history proudly while continuing to evolve—and it’s absolutely worth the visit.
