The rooms and facilities are very budget, but it was priced to reflect this, we thought it was good value for money. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Location is great if you want to be in the city centre. We were right on the busy street and the noise from outside really wasn’t bad, slept fine. The main bonus here is having the kitchen in the room, nice to be able to get up and have breakfast. It is not equipped for cooking (but we didn’t plan to anyway). Only problem we had was they would not provide two keys for the room which is not an issue I’ve had at other hotels. Makes it tricky if you aren’t both doing the same thing as you have to plan ahead and leave the keys at reception (which isn’t always open).

I would not stay here if you want to sleep! There was incredibly loud music from all of the nearby bars until around 2am on weeknights. My own fault for not checking. Perfect if you're here to have fun and enjoy Liverpool's amazing nightlife and music, not the best choice for a business trip!

I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, in room 36, and it wasn’t the best. The room was in an appalling state, unworthy of guests until following issues are fixed. Firstly, the walls were covered in unsightly marks and cracks, giving the impression that the room hadn't been maintained in years. The bathroom was equally dismal, with a sink that didn’t drain properly and a mirror that was not only chipped but also rusted around the edges. The electrical sockets in the bathroom were rusted, posing a potential safety hazard. The ceiling in the kitchen area had disturbing brown stains, likely from water damage. The wardrobe contained a concoction of different hangers, seemingly left by previous guests, with nothing substantial provided by the hotel. This added to the overall feeling of neglect and lack of attention to detail. The floor was marred with irreparable marks, further contributing to the room's neglected appearance. To make matters worse, instead of proper air-conditioning, the room had a cheap Amazon floor fan that was entirely inadequate for the sweltering heat. There were the remains of a smoke alarm on the ceiling, which is a serious safety concern. The entire room felt like it was thrown together without any care or attention to detail, or just not maintained with everything looking haphazard and unfinished. I could even see the insulation in the walls due to the lack of a proper door frame around the entrance door. The headboard on the bed was falling apart and kept bashing on the wall behind with slightest movement. The sofa and tables were stained and filthy, making me question the overall cleanliness of the room. The oven was dirty, adding to the list of hygiene concerns. Overall, this room wasn’t as good as other places in Liverpool of a comparable price range. While I understand the need to offer rooms at a cheaper rate, there is no excuse for such poor quality. It is entirely possible to provide budget accommodations that are still clean, safe, and properly maintained. This hotel needs to seriously address these issues before they can consider hosting guests again.
