March 2025Attended a wedding and I fell in love with the room the bride and groom were. Big windows and high ceilings. Very beautiful.

December 2024Had our Christmas do here, had a good evening overall, good points, location, town centre very good. Quite a nice building. Being out with my friends and colleagues. It was a sit-down meal and disco. The food was ok. Maybe a 5 out of 10. Down side. Bar drinks, my company bought drinks vouchers, the vouchers could only be used on a handful of drinks? What is the point of the vouchers if you can't use them on whatever you want? Also, the selection of drinks at the bar was poor. Not a good choice. Only a couple of draft beers, both crap. I tried to use my voucher on a whisky, obviously not included. How about a Bailey's, not included. The only ones included were stuff I've never heard of. Secondly, card only, I know card payment is everything, but I didn't take my card with me. I don't like using my card in town centre pubs. (I had to pay for the drinks I liked) I will check this, but I don't think our booking team was told about card payment only. The main room, your tables and disco, were upstairs. The gent's toilets and bar are downstairs. The dance floor is quite small. Also, the overall ambience was poor, something missing? I have been to a few venues for Christmas, this was the worst I've been to. I'm sure others will love it. It's not for me. I wouldn't go there again. If you do go I hope you have a good night.
