Lilly is hands down one of the best waiters I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only was she attentive and efficient, but she also went above and beyond to make our experience special. She has a natural warmth and empathy that made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. It’s rare to find someone who combines professionalism with such genuine kindness. If you’re lucky enough to have Lilly as your server, you’re in for an amazing dining experience!

Good experience in this hotel for a 2-nights business trip. Perfect location for logistics, big rooms and fancy entrance. Good level of cleanliness even if furnitures and doors are a bit old/not well mantained. There were men at work in the front of the building, starting to make noise at 5am, not a fault of the hotel. Small gym but ok for quick and easy training.

The hotel is traditional Old British hotel. Inside is very nice and impressive! The food in the restaurant was nice and I did enjoyed, however the breakfast was average. ( shame that there wasnt fish and chips in the menu -ran out) I am unhappy with one member of reception staff who ignored me to find my booking which wasn’t in their system but my name and booking was actually at front of this person at desk. Good that another member of staff arrived and helped me to find my reservation. Apart of this situation I am generally happy and like this hotel.

Great hotel. Arrived a bit earlier than expected and they let me check in early at no cost. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size, bed was comfortable. Bathroom very clean. The bedside lights were unplugged for some reason. When I pulled to bedside table away from the wall to plug it in it was very dirty behind, with bits of paper and toenail clippings. House keeping could pay more attention to vacuuming. The walls need new paint job and the full size mirror was just propped up agains a wall, nothing holding it in place. Bit of a safety hazard. Excellent breakfast selection on offer.

Overall okay stay, location is perfect and the decor is really impressive. Unfortunately the breakfast service was very poor. Advised breakfast would start at 06:30 so headed down for 06:45. Had to stand waiting for a long time to sat at a table and no one was manning the desk. Half the buffet wasn’t available with no explanation leaving a lot of confused guests. Very disappointing as this was an additional cost to stay and would consider an alternative next time we’re in Leeds.
