Rothamsted Enterprises in Harpenden (Hertfordshire) consists of two outstanding conference and event venues.

Our sustainably built, BREEAM accredited Conference Centre sits just minutes away from our recently renovated, Grade 1 listed Manor House and Gardens - Rothamsted Enterprises can offer you an unparalleled combination of the old and the new for your next meeting.

We have a range of conferencing and meeting room facilities across both our venues:
• A tiered 300 seat auditorium for formal conferences and musical performances, with high-spec audio visual and media streaming capabilities
• A large galleried area for exhibitions and displays that can also
serve as an auditorium to seat up to 200
• An internal plaza where delegates can enjoy refreshments and networking
• Six break-out seminar rooms to accommodate 10 – 80 people, ideal for sessions in boardroom, cabaret or theatre styles
• A fully-equipped press room with high speed Wi-Fi and advanced media facilities
• Stunning 17th century surroundings across four rooms in our Manor House

Rothamsted Manor is a Grade 1 listed building and therefore has conduct rules and heritage guidelines which must be adhered to. A full copy of our guidelines is available from the team upon request. Failure to abide by these terms may lead to a fine and/or termination of your event with immediate effect. Rothamsted Conference Centre: Unavailable for private events. The Lounge is part of the Bardolph extensions. It was originally two rooms and the dividing wall, along the line of the moulded ceiling beam, may have been removed by Sir John Wittewronge. He also panelled the room, again covering some extensive, rarely seen murals on the east wall from the time of the Bardolphs. These murals are on show to the public once per year during English Heritage Open Days.

The Lounge is perfect for a range of events, from private dining, afternoon tea, or a boardroom style meeting for up to around 20. It is also perfect for a wedding party to use as their dancefloor/party space, allowing full set up whilst the wedding breakfast takes place elsewhere in the Manor, and is conveniently located next to the bar!
