The glorious property offers relaxed countryside living, with a dash of laidback luxe… Our large & lovely cottage is ideal for multi-generational get togethers- set-up so that everyone can all start counting down to nature-filled walks by-day & starlit suppers by-night. Bordering the forest, and cocooned amongst a 3 acre plot, just follow the ponies down the quiet track to indulge in free range fun with your favourite people… and don’t forget to bring your swimmers for splash pool & hot tub fun! We love how the large windows & open-plan layout here brings the outside in, and you’re encouraged to enjoy whatever-the-weather wanderlust throughout all the seasons (pack wellies for woodland wanders & flip flops to hop to the hot tub). From birdwatching, to den-building, the bounty of wilderness & wildlife here really does encourage you to live life in the slow lane… And, after a day in the great outdoors, we can’t think of a more serene place to reconvene as the evening draws-in.
Little ones will delight at the games room, whilst the grown-ups can chatter & natter by the flickering fire. Bring your bike (or arrange for hire bikes to be delivered) to ride into Burley village & fill your basket with local produce. With a couple of fab watering holes here too, we’d also plan a refreshing pit stop in on the way home. This is county living!

I came with my friend for a surprise birthday lunch to Burley Manor. The location is magical and the Manor House is stunning. Extremely peaceful with lovely tranquil grounds. The sun was shining so we ate outside in the shade of the trees. Rosa served us and was delightful and extremely helpful. Her attention to detail was impeccable. She helped us order tapas and brought us drinks. We didn’t want for anything. Thank you Rosa and all the staff for making this a truly memorable day for us. I can’t wait for my next visit! Highly recommended.

Beautiful Venue, wonderful food, friendly and helpful staff. We went on a Saturday as a group of 13 for lunch and later back for cream tea and everyone was really impressed. The food was very tasty and not more expensive than local pubs. The staff went out of their way to accomodate us. Highly recommended for a day trip to Burley (which is an awesome little village to visit).

My friend and I met up here for the night and had a lovely stay! I was a little apprehensive having read some of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised! It's a beautiful setting, the staff were absolutely lovely and our room was great. We had drinks on the terrace followed by some snacks in the bar. All good, we would definitely return here.

Afternoon tea for 2. Expensive for what you get. My wife and I visited last week (8/24}. I know the building is 100s of years old but the interior is definitely in need of redecoration. It was like walking into the 70s. The conservatory was the best bit. Fairly modern and bright. Afternoon tea, only 3 tiny finger sandwiches each., The scones were really nice, with jam and clotted cream. An assortment of other small pastries which were also nice. Sadly only 1 pot of coffee between us and we were never asked if we wanted another. Service was OK but our waitress never seemed particularly bothered. Overall disappointing and the hidden service charge added to our bill at the end was the icing on the cake.
