February 2025Turned up after a soggy walk to a warm welcome, the dog was brought treats and a blanket!! Wonderful, fresh roast dinner, both the belly pork and roast beef were perfectly cooked. Can't wait to try out the riverside area when the weather allows.

February 2025We travelled from far away for this lovely afternoon tea birthday treat after seeing great reviews here. It did not disappoint, all the items were homemade and delicious and you could tell a lot of effort had gone into it, the staff were all friendly and the location was nice too by the water. The brownie was the best I’d ever had! Thanks for a lovely time

February 2025We arrived early but the team kindly found us a table. The staff were all attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, even with 2 fussy eaters. Good portion sizes and a great cost. A real gem and we will definitely be back when we are in the area.

March 2025We have visited here often in the summer when in the area in our motorhome but on this occasion we stayed overnight in one of there rooms. The whole experience from start to finish couldn’t be faulted, the staff were extremely professional, the food on the evening was excellent and good value with first class service. The breakfast was the best we have had in a very long time and the whole experience was improved further by Ryan who went above and beyond to make it a even better experience so big shout out to him thank you.

April 2025Great place to go for a drink and a bite to eat! Good selection of drinks, and they do amazing afternoon teas! Also has a lovely beer garden right next to the Wye. One of the waitresses, Emma, always makes our time there very enjoyable, always smiling, cheerful and nothing is too much trouble (Some of the other staff should take some tips off her!) Disappointed to see her not in the outside bar this year as she really helped to create a great atmosphere out there and could handle busy periods much better than others!
