February 2025First time in Glasgow and stayed in Village. Lovely, clean, quiet, cosy room with comfortable bed, bathroom with rain shower and good quality shower gel and shampoo. Before stunning breakfast visited pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. Definitely coming back! Staff in reception super friendly! 10/10 Highly recommend!

February 2025Stayed at the Village Hotel whilst attending a gig at the Hydro and the convenient location was amazing. Your staff are some of the most polite and courteous we have had the pleasure of dealing with at any hotel. Dinner was superb as was the breakfast the following morning, however, one (very) small gripe I had was that no Decaff coffee was available but apart from that we could not fault the food or service. Room was spotless, bed very comfortable and we had a great view. Leisure facilities were spot on, plenty of choice and a great pool. All in all the Village Hotel will now be our go to for future stays in Glasgow! Fantastic experience 😁

January 2025Perfect location for the Hydro. Staff were all very friendly, we stayed during the recent storm, i didn't catch what I think was the manager, he was a trooper, making sure everyone was OK and even venturing out to collect flying objects. Room clean. Pool - nice temp. Whirlpool and steam weren't in action but didn't take away from it. We also ate in the attached restaurant, which for Pub food was perfect. Will definitely stay again.

March 2025Room and Reception were good, but the room and hotel were stuffy and excessively dry. This was February, so no reason for excessive heating. Breakfast was OK, but not outstanding. Evening meal service was poor and half the menu items were unavailable, and bar poorly stocked. Used the meeting room too: catering for that was poor, vegetarian options were lacking in protein content, and insufficient cutlery provided. The AV didn't function correctly for our Teams meeting: presentations were not streamed to the large screen. The Internet connection was too slow to run PowerPoint slides effectively. Air appalling dry, hot and oppressive. The swimming pool was great, but storage lockers were mostly not available (locks broken I think).
