The Bungo bar & kitchen is a local gastro pub located in the heart of Strathbungo in Glasgow's vibrant southside. We pride ourselves in using local suppliers and change our menus with the seasons to reflect what is plentiful.
Relax in our friendly bar area, or dine with friends in the restaurant before moving to the Bungo-lo, our unique downstairs venue, to enjoy one of our many special events!

January 2025Me and my Fiancé had our engagement party in the Bungo last November and it was great! Initially there was an issue with our booking date but they couldn’t have been more professional and accommodating in helping us find a solution. The staff were so attentive all night and really helped us relax and enjoy our celebrations. The bar is a perfect backdrop for any occasion. We went in for dinner a month or so later and it doubles as a great date night! Overall would highly recommend as both a function hire and place to go for a meal.

March 2025Went for a pub quiz. Good selection of beers, the food was good and fairly priced. Not too busy which was nice but it was mid week. Will be back
