From entering the car park, and check in / out, everything went very smoothly. Reception, bar and restaurant staff very helpful. Selection and quality of food and drink was excellent. Large, clean, well appointed room. Would certainly put Novotel at the top of my list wherever I shall be staying in a hotel.

City centre based hotel within walking distance to shops, trains, eateries, and theatre. Nice hotel, clean, spacious and efficient staff. Bar/lounge area has a pool table and kids play area. Although we didn't eat here the menu looked good. Coffees served with nice biscuits. Room was well laid out, a bit noisy due to location but keep your window closed and probably be fine.

Stayed here after a show at kings theatre. The rooms are nice. A few problems with the cleanliness. It was very dusty. The room was not set up for 3 people when bringing bed settee down there was only a dirty mattress protector phoned down to ask for clean sheets it took an hour and 15 minutes to get the sheets. The coffee maker was stuck to the counter with previous dirty spillage. I had 2 executive rooms. The other room was the same. Dirty coffee cups. Not set up for 3 people staying and the bed settee had the dirty linen still on the mattress we waited that long my sister told the man that came to make the bed just to leave it and she would make it herself. The rooms were certainly not to an executive standard. Not to mention that we did not get into our rooms until after 4 o’clock because seemingly they were still cleaning them, does not make sense. It cost me yet another 17 pounds for a drink at the bar. They did offer only a soft drink a beer or a wine none of us drink these and they did not offer the other room a free drink so I was yet another 20 pounds for my other guests to get a drink. I was livid about the whole situation don’t know if I would stay again as they are plenty hotels within the area. The staff where nice. Breakfast was lovely

The customer service was one of the worst I have seen. There was weak WiFi in the room and they didn't have any backup wifi and they also didn't change the room as their excuse was " It is night now" I said "wow so this is your 4 star hotel?" Very dissatisfied with the service. Also the room temperature went high at the middle of the night and they said they can't do anything but they have fan. Then they cancelled the call. Called after 5 minutes and said there is no fan. Not recommended to anyone.
