February 2025Some of the exhibits look a little dated but I take that as a good thing, nothing new sacrificed its life for me to look at. But more seriously a great free day out with the little one, some of it didn’t connect with her but with so much there every kid will find something of interest and we only seen one half of it, so another day out to plan for the rest. Can’t fault it, a real gem of Glasgow

March 2025Plenty of parking, pay at the machine, and then off to explore. Admission is free. Donations are appreciated. The building is intriguing in structure and craftsmanship. You climb the steps from the front from the main road or from the parking lot. There is a map for you to follow, but somehow, we kept getting turned around. It is always jawdropping to look back through history. Learning things you did not know or adding to what you already knew. Taxidermy, paintings, artifacts from the past, and so much more. There is an amazing organ, and the performance starts at 1 PM. The gentleman was great, playing older songs and then newer ones. The Cafe was not bad. Quick bite if you're hungry.

March 2025Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is housed in a characteristic Scottish building. A testament to the glory of Glasgow. The collections on display are certainly worth a visit. We did not always see the coherence between the many objects. Perhaps that is asking too much in a museum that has so much to offer. Displaying the many objects in the old, stately rooms is also no easy task. On the other hand, the dated rooms give a special charm to a visit to Kelvingrove. The daily organ concerts make a visit to the museum extra charming.

March 2025Such a wonderful, free city event. We were just in time for the 1pm Recital. A great experience. Allow several hours to visit all the exhibitions. Great cafe, too. Donations warmly welcome and so deserved. Don't miss this. Two Senior Aussies, travelled in March 2025.

March 2025So much to see, set in an absolutely stunning Victorian era building. It really is jaw droppingly beautiful. Boasts a good collection of works and well laid out displays. The Staff were all very nice too. Good little coffee shop AND cafe. The gift shop is also filled with great items, of good quality. Not just souvenir type tat. Treat myself to some gorgeous earrings. Plenty of toilets etc. Clean and well maintained building. Absolutely worth a visit as so much there to browse. Everyone should be able to find something of interest.
