December 2024Perfect place to stay with my tour group. The rooms were clean and the people were very friendly. Also, it is walking distance to so many restaurants and shops in Glasgow. However, I do wish the main hot food for breakfast would change a little. It was the same every day and some of us got tired of the same food.

February 2025Stayed here for a few nights in January - clean rooms - very nice hotel - friendly staff. Would highly recommend staying here as the location is perfect you are right in the heart of the west end - the subway station was only a short walk down the street and the area felt very safe even at night as a female which was important to me.

January 2025Great location. Although not taken advantage of. Room was clean and bed was nice although a bit tired looking. A ticking sound from the wall made it hard to fall asleep which was annoying. Staff were amateurish at best. Took a while to get checked in and then into my room. Overall it was good enough for a one night stay. Wouldn’t pay much over £100 for the place though.

March 2025Hotel itself was decorated nice however the cleanliness of the room was subpar, with dirty glass cup in the bathroom and a spoon with dried milk left in a mug. I later called the reception and asked for wine glasses but waited 30 to 40 minutes and had to go down myself. In conclusion wont be back however the team were lovely

March 2025We were let down badly by the team at the Grosvenor hotel. During the red weather warning a month or so ago, we were unable to travel for our two night stay and the gig we were attending was cancelled. We were told by the Grosvenor that we could only get a refund for one of the two nights we were due to stay, despite the second night still being affected by amber weather warnings. The back and forth we had with Booking.com and customer services at the hotel was, frankly, embarrassing. In order to cut out the middle man we tried to phone the customer service number and front desk at the hotel, both of which appeared to be unattended for hours at a time. The only direct communication we received from the hotel was the offer of a partial refund on booking.com. Perhaps this is a lesson for us in taking out travel insurance even if its for a trip somewhere 30 miles away, or perhaps one that teaches us that a previously fantastic hotel is just now a tired carcass of what it once was, determined to squeeze every penny out of its guests. We eventually changed the booking free of charge to the date we hoped the gig would take place rather than take a £120 hit. It worked out in the end for us but we are so disappointed in the lack of goodwill from the hotel and the way they handled the interaction. To add to this, our hotel room was tired, there was a loud dripping sound coming from the walls and our toilet did not flush properly. As a nice bonus, our wash hand basin was cracked, one of our towels was dirty, the headboard of the bed was marked/ stained and we even found a cleaners room key in our pillow case. We will not be back.
